How to fix an App that is not responding?

Restart and Update

  • Restart your tablet by pressing the power button of the phone and hit “Restart” on the screen.

  • Open the Play Store app on your tablet.
  • Tap menu and My Apps – Games.

Force Stop an App

  • Click “Force Stop”.

Clear Cache of App

Remove cached data to free up maximum space by removing temporary files. It is a short-term solution because cached data can build up again. To clear this data from an app, see these steps:

  • Open your tablets settings app.
  • Click Apps and Notifications.
  • Tap this app and if you can’t see the app, search it in the list of apps.
  • Click “Storage – Clear Cache”.
  • If the problem continues, you have to uninstall the app. Remember, this step can erase any saved data in the app.
  • Touch the app that you want to uninstall and hold for a few seconds.
  • To see available options, begin dragging an app.
